Barnsbury Joinery is a heritage joinery studio in London. We restore, repair and replace timber sash windows, make windows, shutters, doors and staircases to order, and finish the work so it lasts. Every commission is drawn, cut and fitted by hand by joiners who have worked together for decades.
Most of our work is for listed buildings, conservation areas and period homes across London and the South East, where new joinery has to match what is already there. We work to the original profiles and detailing, so a restored sash or a new panelled door reads as part of the building rather than a replacement.
The services below fall into three areas: sash windows, glazing and shutters; bespoke joinery made to order; and the finishing and maintenance that keeps timber windows working. Outside London and the South East, the same joinery is available made to measure and supplied UK‑wide.

Barnsbury Joinery is the flagship studio of The Barnsbury Group, a second‑generation heritage joinery house. Established in London in 1987, it makes bespoke joinery by hand and carries the parent voice for the family of studios.
